FCS Fins were introduced to the Australian market in 1992 and released globally in 1994. The first FCS plug was patented shortly after the global release and it quickly became the world standard for removable fins. To this day FCS is the strongest, most successful, and also the most widely used fin system in the world. Designed in collaboration with the world's leading surf athletes and surfboard shapers, the FCS fin range offers a diverse range of surfboard fins suited to a variety of board models, wave conditions and surfing style. FCS Comb For Good Wax Comb
FCS wax combs are made with repurposed and recycled plastic, with profits from the sale of each wax comb going towards supporting ocean conservation charities such as the Gowings Whale Trust, whose mission is to preserve our oceans and the animals that inhabit them.
FCS Good Wax Comb
FCS has partnered with Malaysian company Heng Hiap Industries (HHI) who collect used ocean plastics and transforms them into manufacturable materials that are just as good as new. Instead of having a linear process where products get manufactured and then disposed, HHI operates in the closed-loop process of reusing, recycling, and reprocessing; creating a circular economy. They aim to recycle over 100,000 tonnes of plastic by 2025.
All proceeds from the sale of the FCS wax combs will be donated to the Gowings Whale Trust. Their mission is to increase people's awareness of the importance and value of the humpback whale, by partnering with like-minded organisations to protect and preserve our oceans and marine life.

The FCSII plugs are backwards compatible - grub screws can be used within the FCSII plugs to secure your existing dual tab FCS fins.FCS has designed a set of unobtrusive silicone infills to fill the gap created by the old fins in the new system. The infills are made from high quality silicone rubber which will not damage the plugs or fins. They are also extremely durable, light and built to withstand extreme temperature and corrosive conditions. The infills replicate the flush leading edge of the new fin design improving the performance of the old fins.
