Performance Core Carbon
Often referred to as PC Carbon or PCC, these fins are highly responsive and feature strategically placed carbon that’s designed to complement the fin template. PCC fins suit fast surfing and are favored by power surfers who like to perform explosive turns on critical parts of the wave.
The new PCC Essential Series fins have been constructed using AirCore technology, which is a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin. With AirCore we can make a much lighter fin with total manipulation of the flex.
The internal carbon framework is designed specifically to suit each template, and by switching to epoxy resin and adding a carbon twill to the base we’ve delivered a more user-friendly flex pattern. Stiffness in the lower half of the fin enhances drive and acceleration from take-off, and a softer flex through the top half of the fin results in a smoother and more predictable feel when turning.

FCS II JS Tri Fin Set
Jason Stevenson's 'JS' shaper fin updated for 2023. Great for surfers looking for a fin that'll feel dependable in bigger waves, but still want the ability to release the tail and surf progressively in smaller waves.
Overview
- All new construction has enabled us to produce the most responsive JS fin to date. AirCore reduces weight and creates more stiffness in the bottom 2/3 of the fin. The carbon tissue inlay helps distribute the flex where it’s needed most and provides quicker memory recall when executing a turn.
- The extra-long base produces lots of drive and speed. The tip is quite tapered and narrow which allows the fin to release out of the lip when pushed hard on more vertical angles of attack.
- “The best surfers in the world have used this fin to win multiple events, so we know it works.” - Jason Stevenson
- This fin is designed for intermediate and above surfers. On the open face it’ll feel secure when carving a longer turn, very smooth when transitioning between turns, with a nice offering of tail release when needed. This fin is all about flow!
Board Types
- This fin can be used across most if the JS range as well as other performance and hybrid models.
- Performance boards with deep concaves and moderate-to-extreme rocker.
Fin Family
- Carver: Find Power. Powerful, drawn-out turns with added hold.

FCS2 Matt Biolos Tri Fin Set - Blue
Design by Matt Biolos and refined by his diverse stable of elite team riders, the new high performance MB fin is an exciting addition to the range and sits comfortably in the Carver family.
Featuring a wide base, curved trailing edge and a tapered tip, this fin is primarily geared for performance power surfing. The bottom half of the fin produces exceptional power and drive, allowing surfers to push hard through turns while maintain a feeling of stability in critical situations. The tip, which narrows significantly from halfway up the fin, offers the freedom and agility to turn abruptly with confidence.
In contrast to Matt's original upright template (Reactor Family) that was loose and geared for tighter turns in beach breaks, the new MB template offers a balanced blend of drive, power and release that will suit more open-face waves and turns such as carves and power hacks. This fin also pairs particularly well with higher-rocker boards.
PC AirCore construction offers a stiffer flex allowing surfers to harness more power and speed when pushing ultra hard through turns.
- A serious-looking fin for surfers who take their surfing seriously. A no-nonsense performance fin you can use in any of the high-performance Mayhem models.
- Expect a burst of speed from the first pump down the line, a feeling of stability when laying into a rail carve, and a surprisingly lively release action when pushing turns through the lip.
Ideal Conditions
- Open face, down-the-line waves, particularly good in point and reef breaks.
Board Types
- Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System.
- Performance shortboards and hybrid models.
