This design is the most well-rounded and versatile of Donald Takayama's classic retro line. With a broad, easy nosrideable nose, and wide, suprisingly loose tail, this board is what every one of Donald's team riders has their competitive quiver. With its 50/50 rails, single fin, square tail, this board is the perfect compliment to your quiver. The Model T's perfection lies in waves from shoulder high to ankle small.

Aloha Chopped Log Ecoskin
- ECOSKIN Technology is a small step toward producing surfboards that are manufactured with more Earth friendly ethics.
Ecoskin surfboards are by no means sustainable but utilising less toxic materials during production we are taking steps to decrease our carbon footprint.
Paulownia is one of the fastest growing trees in the world, capable of growth rates of well over seven feet per year! Paulownia timber is perfectly suited as a sustainable alternative in surfboard production due to its lightweight and proportionately natural strength characteristics.
Some species of plantation Paulownia can be harvested for saw timber in as little as five years.
Once Paulownia trees are harvested, they regenerate from their existing root systems, earning them the name of the “Phoenix tree”.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is very light and strong. EPS foam has more buoyancy and floatation increasing paddling speed and manoeuvrability
Epoxy Resin is a healthier alternative to polyester as epoxy emits 50-75% fewer VOCs, decreasing the amount of harmful chemicals released into the environment.- Surf 10" Single fin

ALL THE TRICKS IN THE BOX
Modern longboarding has a variety of skill and style that is hard to compare in any other sport. Depending on the surfer, or the wave, or the board, it can be a dance or a martial art. It can be light footed poise or powerful drive, straight line trim or vertical snaps, nose rides or carves. A true modern high performance longboard has to be capable of all of these things.
The Don is stable on the nose, straight and fast through the middle and lively in the tail. The Don XL is higher volumed version of the Don for heavier surfers, slightly more nose oriented to enable more stable nose riding, but still super responsive in the tail. The added advantage of the Torq TEC construction; lightweight, strong and super responsive makes the wide repertoire of moves easier and more dynamic.
LONGBOARD LAY-UP
For lengths of 8'6 and over we have introduced a T-stringer and carbon stringer to the deck and bottom for a new level of torsional strength. The torq longboard technology is incredibly strong, light and responsive.
With 3 layers of glass on the deck and 2 layers on the base, these are super strong, light and feel fast under your feet.

Roger Hinds Renaissance Tuflite V-Tech - 9'4"
Surftech
Experience the best of the past with the top design elements of the present, experience “the Renaissance.” “Renaissance” is a French word for “rebirth”, or a new interest in something that has not been popular for a long time. Reaching back through the natural progression of his surfboard designs from his early years to the present, Roger Hinds has brought the best elements of each era forward with the Renaissance Model.
The Renaissance model revisits and revises the top longboard plan shape from the 1960’s; the height of the longboard era, and combines it with modern rocker, rail, and foil design elements to bring it into the present. The modern pulled down rail allows for smooth and easy rail to rail transitions. The advanced fine foil increases the speed and the glide which makes for fast clean surfing. The result is a one board longboard quiver. Pairing the right fin can greatly alter the performance of a surfboard. Roger has spent years perfecting finding testing fins shapes and sizes .

Takayama DT-2 10'0"
There is no such thing as the perfect longboard, but if there was this would be darn close. Donald’s “all-rounder”. This board was designed with more focus on noseriding than the DT-1. With the ability to do it all. Turn, trim, noseride, you name it the DT-2 can do it. Working in waves from ankle high to well overhead, the DT-2 can be ridden and enjoyed in all conditions. This board could easily be a one-board quiver or just a trusty old friend you pull out when you want a board you know you can trust.
Donald Takayama’s legacy is a combination of the worlds best boards, best surfers and best waves, making his boards some of the most sought after in the surfing world. Takayama was famous for his progressive designs that combined both traditional and high-performance aspects into every board made.

The Torq 9’1 is a more traditional noserider, focussed on stability and trim. It is excellent for both developing and skilled longboarders aiming for traditional style surfing in smaller waves. Low rockered a wide nose, these are super stable with tons of glide. The 9’1 has a harder rail through the tail with a double concave vee for manoeuvrability.
