Torq Tec Hybrid
This is a true one board quiver. Up front you have a ‘fish’ like nose – wide through the 12” mark with an easy entry rocker and single concave. From the mid point back, the template narrows in a long curve into a rounded pin tail with a little more rocker under the back foot and a double concave to vee behind the fins.
This combination makes a board that paddles well and catches waves like a fish but also performs in more critical waves. Under your front foot the board is fast and accelerates quickly, with speed to burn. As you transfer your weight to your back foot the combination of the round pin and double concave makes the board sharp and responsive, easily capable of holding a high line in the barrel or deep gouging carves.
With 5 Futures fin boxes, the Hybrid can be ridden as Quad or Thruster.

Geoff McCoyFlax fibre cloth is an engineered reinforcement fabric made from the bast of the flax seed plant. While flax fibre is one of the oldest cultivated fibres for textiles, it is only recently that its use as a fibreglass substitute has been acheived. Incorporating flax fibre cloth in the lamination reduces the use of regular glass by 1/3rd and adds a great earthy look and more importantly helps lower our carbon footprint.
SR GreenPoxy 56 is an epoxy resin which has up to 56% of its molecular structure coming from plant origin. This percentage is function of the carbon origin contained in the epoxy molecule. The final rate of the mix bio-based carbon content will depend on the hardener choice.
The manufacture of EPS foam does not involve the use of toxic isocyantes used in the production of regular surfboard blanks. Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is light weight and has fantastic shock absorbing properties, making it ideal for surfboards. EPS foam has more buoyancy and flotation increasing paddling speed and maneuverability.
The Surfboard Agency has teamed up with the first, independent 3rd party consumer-facing “eco-label” for boards, the ECOBOARD Project is focused on reducing carbon footprints, increasing the use (and reuse) of renewable, recycled and up-cycled inputs, and reducing toxicity within the surfboard manufacturing process.

A sled for any waves up to 4ft. Whether you are a Longboarder looking for a step down or a shortboarder looking for some extra volume for the smallest days, this board will make you stoked for even the weakest surf.
The shape is short and wide providing loads of planing area and with around 30% more volume than the Thruster, loads of float too. The rocker is flat for maximum speed and the foil carries out to the rail so you can power through turns without bogging the rail.
With 5 Futures fin boxes, the Summer 5 can be ridden as Quad or Thruster.

Biaxial Fibre Glass has about half of its fibers aligned along the length of the cloth (0 degrees) and about halfway across the cloth (90 degrees) lending itself as a perfect option for creating a controlled flex pattern.Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is a version of polystyrene foam typically found in the core of Firewire surfboards. EPS is typically the lightest of the three foams used in surfboard construction resulting in a much lighter board translating to increased buoyancy and floatation. Basically the lowest density or lightest board will float you the best! The advantage of better buoyancy is added paddling speed and increased maneuverability allowing you to ride a smaller board. EPS foam core is also less likely to deteriorate over time!
Epoxy Resin is a healthier alternative to polyester as epoxy emits 50-75% fewer VOCs (volatile organic compounds) than polyester resin, which means a decrease in harmful chemicals in the shop and the environment in general. In fact, epoxy is a common household item, safe to use without a mask and with only moderate ventilation. Epoxy is lighter than polyester. Under most circumstances, resin makes up a large part of a completed board’s overall weight. Not only is epoxy lighter than polyester, but less is needed per coat. This ends up meaning a lighter surfboard – a big plus for most surfers. The biggest bonus However is the durability and strength of epoxy resin.
All XF boards are constructed using a 36gram EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, each board is hand laminated using epoxy resign and biaxial fiberglass on the deck providing a lighter, stronger board that feels fast and responsive under your feet increasing performance in a wide variety of conditions!

Torq Tec Rusty Egg Not - White
Simply put, the Egg Not is a squash tail version of our mid-length board, the eGG. With the increasing popularity of mid-lengths, we decided it was more or less a given that we offer a squash tail mid-length board. The Squash tail adds a little more area, lengthens the rail line, and has a more pivoty feel compared to a roundtail. The Egg Not is a great board to have in your quiver. When the surf is average, you’ll have plenty of wave catching ability and it will carry through sections but the board will still be loose enough to turn with ease. As a plus, when the surf gets a bit bigger, it still works surprisingly well! The Egg Not features a relaxed rocker on the front end of the board which helps with paddle speed, wave catching, and overall glide. The curve is a bit above average which translates to helping tighten the arc of your turns without giving up speed. The thickness of the board is a little on the thin side for a board this size. These leaner rails make the board easier to put in the water and also helps it hold better in bigger surf. Fin setup here is your call. For a higher performance feel we recommend a 4-fin setup. If you’re looking for something a little cruisier or more traditional feel do a 2 plus one setup.

Torq Epoxy Composite offers performance shapes in our state-of-the-art epoxy layup. These boards have the best balance of Lightweight versus Durability. Using our own unique lamination process, we are able to use a very strong fiberglass lay-up of 6oz and 4oz combined in 3 layered deck and 2 layered base (with a 4 layered rail lap) with a high density EPS foam, but still achieve a board weight that matches a lightweight fiberglass lay-up.
The result is light but very strong board, with good flex characteristics and as with all torq's, excellent value for money.
The TEC shortboards have 2 full layers of fiber over the deck and bottom. On the deck we use an extra 6oz deck patch with gives triple layer ding resistance, but doesn't resist the flex along the rail. The addition of a carbon filament stringer and UD carbon twin strips on the base makes these super springy and responsive.
