  • Speed & tight turns. Ideal for beach breaks.

    Overview

    LIGHTER CONSTRUCTION. SMOOTHER FEEL.

The new PC Carbon Essential Series utilises a superior blend of carbon tissue and our ultralight AirCore construction to deliver a more user-friendly flex to achieve faster start up acceleration, and a smoother feel through turns.

    • Designed for speed and tight turns, with added tail release.
    • Upright template allows for tighter, more acute directional changes.
    • Smaller centre fin for increased pivot and tail release.

    Fin Family

    • Reactor: Find Speed. Speed, tight turns & snaps.

    Performance Core Carbon

Often referred to as PC Carbon or PCC, these fins are highly responsive and feature strategically placed carbon that’s designed to complement the fin template. PCC fins suit fast surfing and are favored by power surfers who like to perform explosive turns on critical parts of the wave.

The new PCC Essential Series fins have been constructed using AirCore technology, which is a pressed polyurethane foam core that mimics the geometric foil of the fin. With AirCore we can make a much lighter fin with total manipulation of the flex.

The internal carbon framework is designed specifically to suit each template, and by switching to epoxy resin and adding a carbon twill to the base we’ve delivered a more user-friendly flex pattern. Stiffness in the lower half of the fin enhances drive and acceleration from take-off, and a softer flex through the top half of the fin results in a smoother and more predictable feel when turning.

  • Fcs2 JS Modern Keel

The flow of a traditional twin fish with the control of a performance quad.

The JS Modern Keel is an upright keel template designed for the JS Red Baron and other specialty fish shapes. Featuring a wide base and a relatively small sweep (rake), this high area keel provides control through the face and pivot in a tight radius.

    Overview

    • Upright keel template designed for traditional fish shapes.
    • Lower sweep (rake) than most conventional, wider based keels which allows it to pivot in a really tight radius.
    • High area and depth not only delivers a feeling of control when pushed harder on the open face, but helps to maintain tremendous speed through roundhouse cutbacks.
    • Black & White in Performance Glass

    Board Types

    • JS Red Baron - The Red Baron, part of the Baron family, has a shorter and wider template with plenty of volume in the tail. It's tail width allows for speed generation through flatter sections as well as a deep double concave, this board was made with the JS Modern Keel template in mind.
    • Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System.
    • Recommended for all board types including fish, funboard and twin fin boards.

    Performance Glass

Performance Glass (PG) fins are machine cut from layers of solid fiberglass. These fins are stiff, and are widely used by pro level surfers because the integrity of the flex is maintained under immense force, and in the most extreme of conditions and situations.

  • FCS II MARK RICHARDS FREERIDE TWIN FINS

Mark Richard's popular 4 x World Title twin template. Highly upright twin, making for an ultra loose feel with fast release.

    Overview

The MR Freeride Twin fin takes us back to a time when Mark was reshaping the way surfers approached the wave. Cut from an old fibreglass skateboard deck, the original freeride fins paired with MR's revolutionary surfboard design changed the direction of surfboard design forever.

The Freeride twin sits very upright, making it super loose and free, with plenty of fast release off the top. The tip is more refined compared to his signature twin + 1, increasing the ability to pivot and turn on a dime.

    Board Types

    • Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System.
    • Perfect twin fin for any retro-style board.
    • Recommended for all board types including fish, funboard and twin fin boards.

    Performance Glass

Performance Glass (PG) fins have a rigid, highly responsive flex pattern that’s generally isolated towards the tip of the fin. This construction is widely used by advanced and pro-level surfers because the integrity of the flex is maintained under immense force, and in the most extreme of conditions and situations.
